I’ve loved Harry Potter for years but I thought it was finally time to read the books and it certainly didn’t disappoint！ It was nice to see all the bits different to the movies and the extra details。

I’ve read this book so many times in my various attempts to read/re-read the series， but listening to the audiobook was a whole new， magical experience I LOVED！ The narrator was a great choice， and there were so many little details I picked up listening over reading。 I love going back and watching the movies in retrospect to pick up on the little details， but hearing it through the pages of the book was so much better。 It truly reminded me of how incredible this series is， and I will always thin I’ve read this book so many times in my various attempts to read/re-read the series， but listening to the audiobook was a whole new， magical experience I LOVED！ The narrator was a great choice， and there were so many little details I picked up listening over reading。 I love going back and watching the movies in retrospect to pick up on the little details， but hearing it through the pages of the book was so much better。 It truly reminded me of how incredible this series is， and I will always think we got jipped on the lack of Peeves and Professor Bins！ 。。。more

There’s a first time for everything！ I enjoyed the book overall， but some parts definitely seemed rushed。 I loved the beginning and liked learning all about the world of Hogwarts。 While the ending felt rushed， I absolutely loved how the House Cup ended。 That part was truly was perfect！ 4 stars。

I’m giving this three stars because I wasn’t as invested in it as I was the movie。 It’s nice because it has more detail than the harry potter films and helps me get a better understanding of them， but nothing interesting was happening until the end。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 “Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone” by Jk Rowling is about a young boy named Harry that lives in England who is a wizard。 I found this book because my family has always been a huge fan of Harry Potter and I grew up watching the movies。 I figured it was finally time to read the books because I love the story so much。 This story begins in England。 Harry Potter lives with his aunt Petunia， uncle Vernon and cousin Dursley because his parents passed。 He lives a horrible life being treated unfair “Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone” by Jk Rowling is about a young boy named Harry that lives in England who is a wizard。 I found this book because my family has always been a huge fan of Harry Potter and I grew up watching the movies。 I figured it was finally time to read the books because I love the story so much。 This story begins in England。 Harry Potter lives with his aunt Petunia， uncle Vernon and cousin Dursley because his parents passed。 He lives a horrible life being treated unfairly ， until letters kept getting sent to his house that changed his life。 Harry was getting notes that he was invited to the Hogwarts wizard school， Harry found out he was a wizard。 He attended the school and became a gryffindor。 He met many friends Ron， his brothers and Hermione。 From there he learns many new things and faces his enemy Voldemort from stealing the sorcerer's stone and finding out the mysteries behind his parents death。 I really liked the ending because Ron， Harry and Hermoine were able to team up and defeat evil forces。 I liked how they used their smarts and tricks together and were able to out smart voldemort。 One of my favorite quotes in the book is “ We are only as strong as we are united ， as weak as we are divided” said by Albus Dumbledore。 In conclusion if i had to rate the book i would give it a strong 9/10。 I really like how you can feel the magic as you read and it almost feels like you are with them。 I feel this feeling with Percy Jackson books as well so i recommend that whole series to people who like Harry Potter。 。。。more

The book that got me into reading， likely that is the case for a lot of users here。 Despite being seen as a children’s series， these books know no age limits。 It will always be the most common gateway for kids and even adults into reading recreational， I’ve witnessed grown men finally try it out and love it along with rest of the books。 Endless reread value as well， huge part of my childhood。 Isn’t even comparable to the movies。
